Angela Lazear Chief Financial Officer Vice President of Operations

Angela Lazear is Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations with responsibility for the financial, investment and budget functions of the association. She serves as the staff representative to the Audit and Investment committees of the MBA Board of Directors.

Prior to joining MBA, Lazear was Executive Director of Finance for the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association in Arlington, Va., where she directed the financial, accounting and budget activities. Previously, as an audit manager with the former Coopers Lybrand, she specialized in auditing financial institutions as well as real estate and nonprofit organizations.

Lazear holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration (with honors) from West Liberty State College, Wheeling, W.Va., and is a Certified Public Accountant. She holds a master's in Business Administration from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
